Alana and I went to Italy for a couple weeks in Sept-Oct, 2002. We started in Venice, then spent a couple days in Florence, then rented a car and drove around Tuscany, down to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, visited Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, then drove up to Rome and spent a few days there before flying home.
