Notes on my desktop PC (devo)

This page has misc notes on my desktop PC, devo.impressive.net.

Current specs: dual PII-350 CPUs, 768MB RAM, 460GB disk, dual 15" flat panels
(same area as a 25" screen, but a quarter the price), CD/DVD (re)writer,
5 speakers+sub, redundant cablemodem and ADSL connections,
running Debian GNU/Linux.
It rocks for a machine that's several years old and didn't cost very
much.

WRT54G wireless router ($90 CAD+tax after $15 mail-in rebate)
- 5 Nov 2004: 200G more disk (WD 7200rpm ATA100 8MB), $140 CAD+tax =
$161 at deals direct
