Tristen, Tyson, Marty and I went canoeing in Algonquin Park on June 8-10, 2001. We started from Grand Lake (southeast corner of algonquin) and canoed/portaged our way to Upper Spectacle Lake: about 3 hours of paddling, and 4 portages ranging from 10 to 190 meters each.
We saw a deer, two wolves, two big snapping turtles, and about eight rabbits including one crazy little guy that kept doing laps around our campsite at night, occasionally bumping into pots and stuff.
