Good CMGI posts on Raging Bull, more on WCAP

Surfed through some recent CMGI posts on ragingbull.com:

Found a great article from mcnulty:

   http://www.ragingbull.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CMGIOT&read=51559

to which David Wetherell replied personally: (!)

How cool is that? How many other billionaires take time out of
their schedules to post to message boards?

Other articles he's written are linked from his profile page:

Back to the CMGIOT board, I just scrolled through the most recent
100 or so messages, and I'm only caught up for the last 4 hours!
And this is just one of 3(?) CMGI boards on Raging Bull's site.

They really need a recommendation feature like Motley Fool's
boards to weed out the junk and let people keep up with the good
stuff. Or I need to set up a board-to-email service so I can skim
and delete stuff faster.

I set up a raging bull portfolio, and it doesn't seem to have any
more features than Yahoo's, and Yahoo's are more usable, displayed
much more tastefully and don't require a huge browser window to
see everything.

I should set up a better portfolio-tracking site one of these
days. (I wanna do it for myself and it isn't much more effort to
do it for anyone, and it could conceivably get quite popular
since the other ones all suck. How frickin hard is it to add
links on the column headings so you can sort by %gain, volume,
or whatever? Arg.)

I also read a bit on WCAP:

   http://www.ragingbull.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=WCAP

and people don't seem quite as enthusiastic about it here as they
are on the yahoo and motley fool boards. It's not an incubator
like CMGI, they don't work on synergies between their properties;
if the valuations of their properties deflate quickly (which they
very well might), WCAP won't be as undervalued any more, and
there isn't much more value to their company than that. People
generally don't seem to think that a 5-10x upside is as likely
as I thought.

So I think I'll buy some more CMGI later today, and just a bit
more WCAP for now.
