In 1994 I sold my car and did the
summer in Europe by backpack
thing, and have been hooked on travelling ever since.
Since 1998 I have been travelling a fair bit thanks
to my job that occasionally lets me
travel; I usually try to schedule a few weeks of vacation along with my
work trips.
Current travel plans:

- 2008: Fairy Meadows, Miller Ridge
- 2007: Japan and SE Asia trip; see my travel blog; lots of visits to family and friends
around Canada
- 2006: Whistler in Feb-Oct, then began an extended
trip around Japan and SE Asia

My first few years of travel took me to Europe a lot,
mainly because my job takes me there regularly. But I
really want to see the rest of the world as well; near the top
of my list are: South America, New Zealand, Australia (again), India,
Nepal. I also want to do a long road trip around the Western US.
