On Dec 3 2006 we did a day trip from Tokyo from Tokyo to Fujikawaguchiko to try to see Mt. Fuji. When we arrived it was nowhere to be seen, covered by clouds. We decided to wait it out with a walk around Lake Kawaguchiko, and a couple hours later we were rewarded with clear views of the peak. Photos:
