Tristen and I went downhill mountain biking at Bromont ski hill in Quebec (about 45 mins south of Montreal) on Sept 15, 2001.
We rented full-suspension mountain bikes and body armor, got chairlift passes and then spent the day riding up the lift and biking down trails of various degrees of difficulty (rated with the same rating system as downhill skiing, e.g. blue squares, single and double black diamonds.)
I used my helmet-cam to try to get some cool video, but most of the video didn't turn out due to my camera tripod not being fixed securely enough; it kept slipping down and pointing at the ground. I'll have to figure out some other way of attaching it.
Here is some video (in MPEG format):
And finally a few photos:
I got a funny comment on my choice of footwear:
the morning before you goes at bromont, what have-you think to put on your sandals! are-you dumb at this point? or you just want to broke your feeth on the first rock? i dont need an answer!
