I have a set of shell scripts that does that (generate next/prev links,
and history page). It's very crude and works for my template, but it would
be easy to change it. If you are interested...

I looked for moblog/photoblog software. I found some questions about
it, but not the answer I was looking for.

OTOH, the chump bot solution seems cool, though I don't want to be
tied to IRC. I'm going to have a look at how to have a command line
interface to it.

I am interested. I'll have a look and if I decide to go this way, I
can work on generalizing them and making them more user-friendly.
