Yesterday I patched the exim config file on mr-burns to reject
forged mail using SPF:
http://spf.pobox.com/
I did this so I would stop receiving spam with my own addresses
forged as the sender, and to get some experience with this stuff
before deploying it on W3C's site where we get thousands of
forged messages.
In the first 18 hours or so it has rejected 72 messages, mostly
for my own site but also for a few other domains that have
published SPF records:
omniti.com
topmail.de
thrashed.co.uk
sify.com
moe.edu.my
hushmail.com
esinet.net
arrogant.co.uk
arbeitsamt.de
tuke.sk
