I saw 54-40 at a great local club last night; photos:

I was able to get nice and close to the stage, so some of the
photos are quite good. (I took about twice as many photos as
are on that page, and erased the really lame ones.)

I really like their music; MP3s are available on un and devo.
(ask me if you want access and don't have it already.)

I don't have their most recent album yet; I started downloading
it a few minutes ago. (will probably buy the CD later)

Did you use the flash to take the pictures?

I have always refused to use it during concerts in order to leave the
artists alone, but the quality of the pictures would benefit a lot
from using it since there is always a lot of movement on stage.

You can see the difference[1] when I used it once by mistake. :-)

Just for a few (and actually, I like the ones taken without the
flash more, because the colors are better.)

Specifically, the flash was used in these:

Yeah, I try not to use it too, instead I try to take pictures when
there happens to be a lot of light on stage. I used it only for a
few last night near the end of the concert when the band was playing
around with the audience a bit.
