On saturday, Josee, Gerald, and I climbed "The Pinnacle" (5.4, 3-pitch, trad) at Bon Echo park, Ontario.
The climb was rated as having "good" protection. However, typical of the Bon Echo rock, I found that all three pitches did not have much to offer in the way of high quality protection placement opportunities. The rock on the arete was very loose. Dispite this the climb was relaxing and offered awesome views of the lake some 350ft below. At the pinnacle itself, there is a really cool move to step from the pinnacle, over a 3 foot crack, and onto the main face.
Pro used: misc nuts, BD Camalot(#2, #3), Aliens (Yellow and Blue).
