Roadtrip: Ottawa to Calgary

The big drive!! 3500km from Ottawa to our new home in Calgary.. lots of road, camped every night along the way, a few coffees and tanks of gas and we arrived 4 days later.
17/06/2004: Ontario: Camped at a place called "The Chutes", which was a mosquito infested campground in western ontario...
The following night, we camped at Sleepy Giant park near Thunder Bay. Very beautiful park...

18/06/2004: Mountain biked the Top of the Giant trail in Sleepy Giant park. Had a few encounters with porcupines and a momma bear and her cubs. Fortunately we were in the car when we saw the bear... our bear didn't like his wild cousins and started barking at them!

Manitoba! We camped just east of Winnipeg and met up with Tristen's niece Ryan during the day. Kept trucking right along right through Saskatchewan and made it to medicine hat. It was very flat :)

20/06/2004: Some cool cars outside the breakfast dinner in Medicine Hat and then off to Calgary!

21/06/2004: Having dinner in our new 'hood. Bass brothers pub...those are good burgers.

22/06/2004: Mountain Biking in Kananaskis Park: We rode the prarie view trail.. excellent trail with almost 500m elevation gain to a pass then sweet singletrack decent from there for 15kms. All in an evening's ride...
