impressive.net spam blocking

by Gerald Oskoboiny

As of January 2004, I have been receiving over 500 spams per day to my personal email addresses, out of about 800 total messages per day.

Although I can filter almost all of it to mailboxes I never look at, there are a number of reasons I would rather reject spam from being delivered to my server at all:

Therefore, I have started rejecting any apparent spam deliveries to impressive.net. Although this may occasionally reject legitimate messages from people I know, based on my past email intake I think this should happen very rarely, less than 1 in 5000 messages.

If your message was rejected and is not spam, I apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope you agree that rejecting the message is better than silently ignoring it. Please get in touch with me another way, or send a short message that doesn't sound as spammy and I can modify my filters to make sure your mail is not blocked again.

If you are a spammer and are reading this page after my server rejected your crud, please do the world a favor and step in front of a bus or something :)

If you're a spambot looking for more email addresses, here is an infinite list of bogus email addresses for you.
