(this depends on Mac OS X Apple Mail)
I do not have an inbox anymore for the last two years. All my incoming =20=
mails are filtered to a dated folder with the pattern YYYY/MM.
I have a big list of "smart mailbox". These are virtual mailboxes, =20
just a view depending on specific metadata (subject, mail headers, =20
keywords, etc.). I can create or destroy them at will. For example, =20
all the mailing-lists have their own virtual mailboxes. And sometimes =20=
for some specific people, I create virtual maiboxes.
I read my emails as usual or sometimes just scanning. For mailing =20
lists if the topic doesn't interest me, I just mark as read.
Then when I know I need to reply to an email, I put a flag on it. The =20=
net results is that I have not lost an email since. I can take time to =20=
reply depending on the type of emails, but I have always replied what =20=
I should have replied.
This specific email was flagged (aka to reply) for the last day. ;)
