I know this is probably old news (~yesterday) by now; I'm out of
touch lately from too much travelling.

But this is the coolest thing I have ever seen:

    Google Glossary
Find definitions for words, phrases and acronyms
    http://labs1.google.com/glossary

You might think "it's just a dictionary", but it's more than that:
decentralized, includes weird jargon/phrases that would never make
it into formal dictionaries, updated frequently as the Web's
knowledge evolves, etc.

I am delighted that Google et al. are finally showing us what the Web
is capable of offering. And we're still just getting started...

more cool stuff:

(Google Sets thingy is fun, too.
